Fields in Trust Community Fun Day @ Holland Sports Club, Mill Lane.
We’re holding a family fun day on 11th July (12pm-4pm) to give some of the local clubs and groups a chance to showcase what they have to offer to the local community and what amenities are available at the Mill Lane Playing fields.
Events include:
- Field and track athletics from Holland Sports Athletics Club
- Mikey Dean’s Soccer school hosting a beat the goalie competition
- Jackie & Mark Wren giving demonstrations and circuit training on the newly installed outdoor gym
- Louise Bunny Hop Dance & fitness
- Mighty Oaks Youth Club fun & games including tug of war & sack races
- Idol Hands Music & Design giving free taster guitar lessons
All events will be free on the day, although the soccer school are trying to raise funds for new equipment, so will be running a tombola with some top prizes!
Fully licensed bar, BBQ and Istead’s Ice Cream Emporium. Disabled toilets and baby change facilities.
Parking will be limited, so please use public transport or your legs where possible! Hurst Green Train station is under 5 minutes walk away!
