A bit about the Holland Sports & Social Association……

The Holland Sports & Social Association (HSSA) is exactly what the name suggests!

The HSSA is made up of a committee of volunteers who act as leaseholders of the Mill Lane playing fields and pavillion, with an objective to further develop sport and outdoor activities for the local community.

The association is not for profit, which means every penny taken above the everyday running costs of the association goes back into further developing the facilities of both the Pavillion itself and the outdoor environment of the playing fields.

The Holland Sports Football club caters for all ages, from 5 years to senior and have achieved huge success over the past couple of seasons.

The Holland Sports Athletics club offer a range of field and track training for all ages, and recently fundraised over £100,000 to improve the running track, including additional drainage and a new running surface.

The Holland Sports Social club cater for the slightly less energetic sports, such as darts, pool and watching football on the tv! With regular band nights featuring some of the best musical talents, BBQ’s, Bingo, Cricket and Rounders matches, and the hugely popular Cocktail parties. As an association of all 3 clubs, we also host numerous community days throughout the year, including one of the best free fireworks nights in the area.

The inside of the pavillion has hugely improved over the past year, with a groundbreaking new beer dispense system and a wider range of premium drinks. The next improvement on the list is to replace the furniture inside the club.

We still believe we have the cheapest bar prices in the area, and possibly in the South East, and our membership prices are lower than even the British Legion!

Membership benefits include discounted access to band nights, party / event hire of the clubhouse and  invites to members only events.

Single membership costs just £15, rising to £25 for a family with hugely discounted rates for Seniors and Juniors.

We thank all our 600+ members for regularly supporting the club, and also those who come along and support our special events. Your support means we can further develop the association and make sure the facilities are kept up to date for the benefit of future generations.
