Fields in Trust Community Fun Day @ Holland Sports Club, Mill Lane. We're holding a family fun day on 11th July (12pm-4pm) to give some of the local clubs and groups a chance to showcase what they have to offer to the local community and what amenities are available at the Mill Lane Playing fields. Events include: Field and track athletics from Holland Sports Athletics Club Mikey Dean's Soccer school hosting a beat the goalie competition Jackie & Mark Wren giving demonstrations and circuit training on the newly installed outdoor gym Louise Bunny Hop Dance & fitness Mighty Oaks Youth Club fun & games including tug of war & sack races Idol Hands Music & Design giving free taster guitar lessons All events will be free on the day, although the soccer school are trying to raise funds for new equipment, so will be running a tombola with some top prizes! Bank Holiday & Half Term opening times Over the bank holiday weekend, and school half term next week, we'll be open during the following times: Friday 22nd 12pm-11pm (Free pool all day) Saturday 23rd 9am-11.30pm (private party from 7pm, although most of Oxted have been invited!) Sunday 24th 12pm-11pm Monday 25th 12pm-11pm Tuesday 26th 7pm - 11pm (Poker club from 8pm) Wednesday 27th 3pm-11pm Thursday 28th 7pm-11pm Friday 29th 12pm-11pm (Free pool all day) Plenty of beer, wine, prosecco, coffee, tea, ice creams and open air to tire the kids out! Day trip to Glorious Goodwood - £55 per person including coach, food, drink and entry to the racecourse! The time is fast approaching for this years Glorious Goodwood Festival. We have reserved a luxury coach and tickets to the racecourse for 50 people. Tickets are going fast but a £25 deposit secures your seat! Food and drinks are inclusive. Coach will be leaving Holland Sports at 11am promptly, with the return coach leaving Goodwood at 6pm. VE Day 70th Anniversary celebrations at Holland Sports To mark the 70th anniversary of VE Day, we'll have all our bitters at just £2 a pint from midday on Friday 8th May. For the ladies, or men that don't drink bitter, we'll also be doing a special on jugs of Pimms & Lemonade. Bitters include: Summer Perle, Doom Bar, Courage and John Smiths Smooth. BBC coverage of the celebrations in London will be shown live from 2.30pm. Don't forget - we're open all day on Friday so pop along after the school run and grab an ice cream for the kids!

Saturday 2nd May Barbeque To celebrate Holland Sports FC having another cracking season, we'll be having a BBQ at the club for their last home game. The match kicks off at 2.45, with the BBQ being ready for 3.30 (half time burgers anyone?!) Come along and support your local team, or just grab some food and relax in the park! Whether rain or shine, we'll be cooking!

Calling all Mums, Dads, Grandparents and Childminders!   "Can we go to the park?" "I want an Ice Cream" "I need the toilet" "I'm thirsty!"   We can't stop you hearing these from your kids, but we have an answer for all of them!   Starting on Wednesday 29th April, we will be opening from 3pm on Wednesdays. 5 acres of playing fields, a childrens playground, skate & BMX park, football pitch, basketball court, outdoor gym and miles of countryside walks are all on our doorstep, offering something for kids of all ages. Ice Creams available from 50p, soft drinks from 75p, Take away coffees & teas from £1, and if you're having one of those days, pints from £2.50! Footballs and cricket bats & balls are available from the bar to borrow. Plenty of free parking available, as well as disabled access and baby changing facilities.
